Delete your account

Applies to: Matchgram (com.matchgram.app) & the Matchgram Telegram bot

Deleting your Matchgram account is something you can do yourself, right now, in under ten seconds. There is no form to fill in, no waiting on a reply from us, and no one on our side who has to approve it. Pick whichever place you use Matchgram from.

If you only want to remove some of your data — your match history, a single alert, a connected group — you can do that without deleting your account at all. Jump to deleting part of your data.

1. From the Matchgram app

  1. Open the Profile tab.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
  3. Confirm once. Your account is gone immediately.

2. From the Telegram bot

  1. Open @MatchAlertHQ_bot in Telegram.
  2. Send /borrar_mis_datos — or open 👤 My Profile and tap 🗑 Delete my data.
  3. Confirm once. Your account is gone immediately.

3. If you no longer have access to either

If you have uninstalled the app and can no longer reach your Telegram account, email hello@matchgram.app from any address and tell us your Telegram username or user ID. We will delete the account and confirm back to you within 30 days, and in practice far sooner.

4. Delete only part of your data — without deleting your account

You do not have to delete your whole account to get rid of data you no longer want. Each of these takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. Clearing match history is done in the Matchgram app; the other two can be done in either the app or the Telegram bot.

What you want goneHow to do itWhat it removes
Matches from your history In the app: open the Matches tab, press and hold any match to start selecting, tick the ones you want (or use Select all), then tap the delete icon and confirm. Those matches, including the full message text stored with each one. Nothing else is affected.
An alert and its keywords In the app: Alerts tab → open the alert → Delete this alert. In the bot: 🔔 My Alerts → tap 🗑 next to it. That keyword or phrase and its settings. We stop searching for it immediately.
A connected group or channel In the app: Sources tab → open it → Delete. In the bot: 📡 My Groups → Delete under its name. The link between you and that chat. If the bot joined it only for you, the bot leaves the chat as well.

Two things also happen on their own, with no action from you: match history is deleted automatically after 24 hours on the Free plan and 7 days on Premium, and only your 200 most recent matches are ever kept. So even if you do nothing, older matches do not accumulate.

If you would rather ask us to remove something specific, email hello@matchgram.app and say what you want deleted. We reply and act within 30 days, and in practice much sooner.

If you want everything gone instead, use the account deletion steps above.

5. What gets deleted when you delete your account

Everything tied to you, permanently and at once:

This is immediate and cannot be undone. There is no grace period and no recovery window — that is deliberate. Once you confirm, the data is removed from our live systems straight away.

6. What is kept, and for how long

Nothing else is retained. For the full picture of what we store while your account is active, see the Privacy Policy.
