Terms of Service

Last updated: August 12, 2026

These terms cover using the Matchgram Telegram bot and the Matchgram companion app (together, "Matchgram"). Matchgram is operated by the Matchgram team, from the United Arab Emirates. By using Matchgram, you agree to these terms.

1. What Matchgram is

Matchgram watches Telegram groups and channels — your own connected ones, and/or a shared network of public groups/channels other users have connected — for messages matching keyword alerts you set, and notifies you when one matches. It's available as a Telegram bot and, separately, as a companion mobile app using the same account.

2. Your Telegram account

Matchgram never asks for your Telegram password or takes over your account. Everything works through Telegram's own bot platform: the bot only sees messages in chats you or another Matchgram user have connected to it, and the app only ever proves who you are through Telegram's own login flow (opening a chat with the bot and tapping a button) — it never receives a copy of your Telegram session.

3. Free and Premium

Matchgram has a free tier with reasonable limits on the number of connected groups/channels and daily notifications. Premium removes or raises those limits, for the duration you purchase (1, 3, or 12 months). Current limits and prices are shown in the bot and the app, and may change over time — we'll always show you the current numbers before you pay.

4. Payments

Premium can be purchased with Telegram Stars, by card, or with crypto. Card payments are processed by Dodo Payments, acting as Merchant of Record; crypto payments are processed by Crypto Pay (@CryptoBot); Stars payments are processed entirely by Telegram. Matchgram never handles or stores your card number or wallet contents directly.

If something goes wrong with a payment — you were charged but Premium wasn't granted, or you were double-charged — contact us (see section 9) and we'll sort it out. Beyond that, refund eligibility follows the policy of whichever payment provider processed your specific purchase.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use Matchgram to:

We may pause or terminate access for accounts that clearly violate this section.

6. The shared network

Some groups/channels connected to Matchgram are contributed by users specifically to power alerts for everyone (not just themselves) — the app calls this the shared network. If you contribute a group/channel this way, it stays part of the shared network even if you later delete your own account, since other users' alerts may depend on it; deleting your account only removes your personal link to that entry, not the entry itself. You can always remove groups/channels you connected privately for yourself at any time, which does fully disconnect them.

7. No guarantee of catching everything

Matchgram does its best to detect every matching message, but it depends on Telegram's own infrastructure and can't guarantee zero missed matches or zero delay — especially during Telegram outages or rate limits outside our control. Don't rely on Matchgram for anything safety-critical.

8. Service provided "as is"

Matchgram is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including missed or delayed alerts.

9. Ending your account

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time — for free, immediately, and without contacting anyone — via /borrar_mis_datos in the bot, or Delete my account in the app's Profile tab. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what that deletes.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Matchgram evolves. If a change is significant, we'll update the date at the top of this page.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
