This page explains, in plain terms, what Matchgram stores about you, why, who else ever sees it, and exactly how to get rid of all of it. Matchgram is operated by the Matchgram team, from the United Arab Emirates, with servers located in Germany.

1. What we collect

Matchgram works by connecting to your Telegram account (as a bot you talk to, and optionally as a companion app using the same account) to watch for messages matching alerts you set. Here's exactly what that requires us to store:

Category	What it includes
Telegram profile	Your Telegram user ID, first name, and username — provided directly by Telegram when you talk to the bot.
Alerts	The keywords/phrases you set, their scope (your groups, the shared network, or both), and whether each is paused.
Connected sources	The groups/channels you link to your account (their Telegram chat ID and title), so we know where to search.
Matches	The full text of messages that matched one of your alerts (both as originally formatted and as plain text), a link back to the message, and whether you've read it. We keep your 200 most recent matches — older ones drop off automatically as new ones come in.
Flagged duplicates	If you mark a repeated match as spam, we store a fingerprint and a short excerpt (up to 300 characters) of that specific message, so we don't show you the same false positive again.
Premium status	Whether you're Premium and until when. If you paid with Telegram Stars, a reference to that charge. We never see or store your card number or crypto wallet — see section 3.
App session	If you use the Matchgram app, a session token (stored as a one-way hash, not in readable form) and a push-notification token, only if you enable notifications.
Language & settings	Your chosen language and whether alerts are paused.

2. What we deliberately don't collect

• We don't store the general contents of groups/channels you connect — only the specific messages that actually matched one of your alerts (see table above).
• We never ask for or receive your Telegram password, phone number, or account access — Matchgram only ever proves who you are through Telegram's own bot login flow, the same way any other Telegram bot does.
• We never see your card number, bank details, or crypto wallet contents. Card payments are processed entirely by Dodo Payments; crypto payments by Crypto Pay (@CryptoBot) — see section 3.

3. Who we share data with

We don't sell data, and we don't use advertising or analytics trackers. Data only flows to the services that are structurally necessary to run Matchgram at all:

Service	What it sees, and why
Telegram	The entire product runs on top of Telegram's own bot platform — every message, alert, and login goes through Telegram by necessity.
Dodo Payments	If you pay by card, Dodo is the Merchant of Record — they collect billing details (like email and address) directly, as required by tax law in most countries. We only ever receive confirmation that a payment happened, never your payment details.
Crypto Pay (@CryptoBot)	If you pay with crypto, this separate Telegram bot handles the transaction entirely. We only receive confirmation that an invoice was paid.
Expo	If you enable push notifications in the app, your device's push token and the notification text are sent to Expo's push service so it can deliver the notification to your phone.

4. How long we keep it

• Account data (alerts, sources, settings): kept for as long as your account exists.
• App sessions: expire automatically after 365 days of inactivity.
• Match history: capped at your 200 most recent matches — older entries are automatically dropped, no action needed from you.
• Payment fraud-prevention records: a small set of opaque, provider-issued reference IDs (not your name, not any personal data) are kept indefinitely to stop the same payment from accidentally granting Premium twice. These records don't identify you once your account is deleted.

Matchgram is intended for users who meet Telegram's own minimum age requirement for using its platform. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone below that age.

7. International transfers

Matchgram's servers are located in Germany. By using Matchgram, you understand your data is processed there, which may be outside your own country of residence.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in any meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page. We'd encourage checking back occasionally, but nothing here is designed to change quietly.
